Preferred major: Computer Science
Language capability: Good English reading and writing
Working location: Shanghai
Job responsibilities:
1. To follow the team’s guidelines, dedicated to our online services and web-based products development;
2. Work with team to build high availability services using your intelligence and experience;
3. You will have the responsibility to complete unit testing and make sure the development process of yours is compliant to the company’s standards;
4. You will have the responsibility to maintain and upgrade the programs you initiated on requirements being changed and expanded;
5. Communicate with production team and testing team or any other teams need your assistance;
6. We may need you to work under pressure to ensure the production time line;
Technical background and skills:
• Be familiar with online application systems
• Good experience in object-oriented programming
• Good experience in JSP/PHP/ASP.NET based web applications development
• Familiar with Apache, Tomcat/Resin, Microsoft IIS web servers
• Familiar with struts framework
• Familiar with Linux, Windows 2003 Server operating systems
• Familiar with MSSQL and MYSQL database
• Familiar with HTTP protocol and HTML standards
• Full experience in JavaScript programming, and AJAX technology to implement cool and friendly user interfaces
• Necessary graphics processing skills for presenting static and animated graphical contents
• Necessary knowledge of streaming media for presenting video-class multimedia contents
• Necessary skills of Flash scripting for advertising items or simple games
• Good code style with rich comments and explanations
