Job responsibilities:[/b]
1. To work with our international network operation team, administrate all of our local servers, network devices in IDC for mobile teams, to ensure very high hardware availability ;
2. Work with international team, to carry out high reliability hardware architecture, considering the hardware redundancy, load-balance, network security, service persistency, recovery in fault mechanisms to ensure 24*7 persistent services;
3. You will have the responsibility to take care of all of the underlying system services(HTTP, HTTPS, SSH,SMTP/POP3, DATABASE) running on servers to make sure they are keep serving the high level applications with zero fault time;
4. You will have the responsibility to protect our servers and network devices from being attacked over the internet or intranet using your intelligence and experience;
5. Communicate with development team and testing team or any other teams need your assistance;
6. We may need you to work under pressure to ensure the highest quality persistent services;
[b]Technical background and skills:[/b]
• Full knowledge of the network topologies
• Rich experience in the switches, routers and firewalls configuration and maintenance, know SNMP well
• Full knowledge of the TCP/IP protocols stack, got familiar with TCP and UDP transfer protocols
• Good experience in sniffers, ports scanners (nmap) to find attacks and potential threat from the LAN or Internet
• Rich experience in Linux, Windows NT/2000/2003 system administration
• Familiar with Microsoft Windows domain administration
• Know how to configure a set of system services, including httpd, https, smtp, pop3, ftp, ssh, dns, rsync, nfs, etc.. on Linux systems, and www, smtp, pop3, ftp, dns, dhcp, etc.. on Windows platforms
• Master a set of well-known service software: Apache, Tomcat, Resin, Qmail,
• Sendmail, Oracle, MYSQL.... on Linux platforms, and IIS, Oracle, MSSQL, MYSQL… on Windows platforms
• Good experience in Unix shell programming and Windows batch scripting
• Should be able to make use of iptables on Linux and security policies on Windows to meet a variety of security requirements
• Master at least two of the load-balancing methodologies to carry out high scalability service environment according to different situations
